Our Partners

At Creative Time Lab, we believe that meaningful change happens through collaboration.
Our projects grow at the intersection of research, art, and community — and none of this would be possible without our partners who share our vision of exploring the future through creativity, dialogue, and care.

We collaborate with foundations, research groups, and creative studios across Europe that are committed to fostering emotional well-being, resilience, and imagination in times of uncertainty.

April Foundation

The April Foundation supports innovative projects that strengthen mental health, emotional well-being, and social connection.

Their commitment to exploring new ways of supporting people in a changing world has made it possible for us to refine and expand The Space of Futurization — our immersive installation helping participants transform future-related anxiety into shared imagination and agency.

With their support, the project continues to grow: new modules, new contexts, and a comprehensive evaluation strategy are being developed to bring this experience to schools, communities, and healthcare settings.

Together, we explore how creativity and collective imagination can become tools for well-being.

Creative Time Studio

Founded by Dr. Anna Sircova, Creative Time Studio explores creativity as a resource and time as a living experience.
Bringing together theories from the psychology of time and creative practice, the Studio develops workshops and interventions that inspire reflection, discovery, and strengthening joy.

As a long-term collaborator and conceptual origin of Creative Time Lab, the Studio continues to inform our approach — blending artistic exploration with psychological insight.
Its manifesto, “Saying yes to making and creating time,” reflects the same spirit that drives our Lab today.

From the studio — a place to create — to a lab — a place to explore, test, and collaborate.

Research Partners

At the heart of Creative Time Lab lies a long-term research journey.
Our projects grow from over two decades of international collaboration exploring how our relationship with time — and especially the future — shapes emotions, choices, and well-being.

The Futurization of Thinking and Behaviour research project, initiated in 2017, has served as a bridge between psychological research and creative practice. Supported by the Time Perspective Network and later by DIS: Study Abroad in Scandinavia, it has laid the scientific and educational foundation for what eventually became Creative Time Lab in 2025.

These partnerships continue to inspire our work — helping us transform complex psychological concepts into immersive experiences and spaces for public reflection.

Time Perspective Network

The Time Perspective Network (TPN) is an international, interdisciplinary community dedicated to advancing research, knowledge exchange, and practical applications related to how individuals and societies perceive and relate to time. The network brings together psychologists, educators, designers, and practitioners to explore how time perspectives influence decision-making, mental health, sustainability, and societal development.

TPN organizes international conferences, supports collaborative projects, and promotes innovative methodologies for studying time. Its mission is to foster deeper understanding of temporal behavior to inform more mindful, future-oriented actions.

The Time Perspective Network hosted the Futurization of Thinking and Behaviour Lab, which grew out of the very first focus group on the concept of futurization conducted in 2017.

The Network played a key role in nurturing this emerging line of research — supporting the initial data collection in Denmark and facilitating international collaborations that later extended the studies to China, India, and Turkey.

Through this partnership, the idea of futurization evolved from a small conceptual experiment into a global research effort exploring how our relationship with the future shapes emotion, behavior, and well-being.

DIS: Study Abroad in Scandinavia

From 2019 to 2020, the Futurization of Thinking and Behaviour research project was supported by DIS: Study Abroad in Scandinavia, a non-profit educational foundation based in Copenhagen (Denmark) and Stockholm (Sweden).

This collaboration marked an important step in bringing research into real-world practice: the first prototype of The Space of Futurization installation was developed, cross-cultural data was collected in Denmark and the United States, and the presentation of research findings at international conferences was supported.
